Club Accounts

Grand Valley Co-Op Credit Union offers four different club accounts.

Christmas Club

The Christmas Club is a great way to save money for the holiday shopping season. There is only a $5 minimum balance to open the account. Have your money deposited into your account through payroll deduction or through a transaction at your local office. Christmas Club Accounts will automatically transfer over into your Share Savings Account on October 1st of each year. After the funds are transferred out, your account remains open so you can start saving for the following year!

Vacation Club

The Vacation Club is designed to help you save money little by little so you can take that well needed vacation you have worked so hard for. Deposits are made into this account by payroll deduction or member transaction. The Vacation Club Account requires a $5 minimum balance and at least one deposit per quarter to remain open. Otherwise you determine the maturity of the account.

Penny Pig Youth Account

A special savings account for our members under the age of 13. Our Penny Pig Account program is a great way to teach your children the importance of saving. Youth Account members receive quarterly statements, a special identification card with their photo and a thumbprint, a postcard for a free gift on their birthday, saving incentive punch cards, and the chance to participate in exciting contests throughout the year. For a limited time only, each child can receive a piggy bank, compliments of GVCCU. When the child brings the piggy bank into the credit union to deposit their money to a new or existing Youth Savings Account, we will match their deposit up to $5.
