Effective immediately, we will no longer honor VISA CHECK (DEBIT) CARD transactions in  Spain .   This step has become necessary due to losses that our members are experiencing from fraudulent transactions in these areas.  We have also blocked VISA CHECK (DEBIT) CARD transactions for PIN USE ONLY in the following foreign countries:  Ukraine, Romania, Siberia, Japan, South America and Brazil.  We have blocked VISA CHECK (DEBIT) CARD transactions for SIGNATURE ONLY in Mexico.   We offer VISA Travel Card AND a VISA Gift Card that has proven to be much safer when traveling internationally.  If you have any questions regarding this announcement, please contact any branch representative.
