Grand Valley Co-Op Credit Union is committed to protecting the privacy of our members. Under federal law, we are required to give you this privacy notice. It describes our credit union's privacy policy and practices concerning the personal information we collect and disclose about our members. It also includes information about the parties who receive personal and sometimes nonpublic personal information from us as we conduct the business of the credit union
When we use the words "you" and "your", we mean the following types of members:
All of our consumer members who have a continuing relationship with us, such as:
- Deposit accounts;
- Loan accounts;
- Credit card;
- Automobile leases we service;
- Self-directed Individual Retirement accounts where we act as custodian or trustee;
- All former members
When we use "nonpublic personal information" we mean information about you that we collect in connection with providing a financial product or service to you. Nonpublic personal information does not include information that is available from public sources, such as telephone directories or government records.
When we use "affiliate", we mean a company that we own or control or an organization primarily owned by credit unions with which we jointly participate.
when we use "nonaffiliated third party", we mean a company that is not an affiliate of ours.

We maintain strict confidentiality of all information collected from consumers that perform transactions at ATMs we own or operate. We do not disclose or otherwise use such information, except to perform or complete the transaction authorized by the consumer, or as required by law.
PARTIES WHO RECEIVE INFORMATION FROM US
We do not disclose any nonpublic personal information about our members to nonaffiliated third parties, except as permitted by law.
DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION ABOUT FORMER MEMBERS
If you decide to close your account(s) or become an inactive member, we will follow the privacy policies and practices as described in this notice.
